Life can be ironic sometimes
The things you once pined for
Become the things you loathe
And the places you once loved to go
Sometimes feel like the inside of a cell
Pause.
Recall the promises that brought you here
Though it may not feel like it today,
You are not stuck, you are planted.
The days may feel long
You’ll feel like quitting sometimes
But God has you here for a reason.
